Saint-Ours lock/National historic site of Canada

Dismantling and installation of mechanical equipment at the Saint-Ours lock, including the butterfly valves used for filling and emptying the lock.

Butterfly valves (4X)

• Removal of the existing butterfly valves
• Removal of the existing hydraulic operating systems
• Repairs on the embedded parts of the pivots
• Installation of new bronze pivot bearings (8X)
• Installation of new butterfly valve opening systems
• Installation of new butterfly valves
• Commissioning of the butterfly valves

Lock gates (4x)

• Removal of geared motors and coupling from existing lock gate opening systems
• Installation of new geared motors and couplings
• Installation of new steel bases for the geared motors
• Installation of eight (8) new upper pivots retaining blocks for the lock gates
